Anaconda numpy and internal console

  • Has anyone successfully used Anaconda-managed numpy module in the internal Python console? I have an Anaconda environment with numpy installed. I can import it just fine in the Anaconda console. I'd like to be able to do the same in the Anvel python console:

    >>> import numpy

    Yes, I do add the the right Anaconda subfolders to sys.path. However, when I run the above import command, I get:

    Traceback (most recent call last):
    File "<string>", line 1, in <module>
    File "C:\Users\AGR4\Anaconda2\envs\anvel\Lib\site-packages\numpy_init_.py", line 140, in <module>
    from . import _distributor_init
    ImportError: cannot import name _distributor_init

    Any help is appreciated!

    P.S. I CAN import other packages from that environment.
