Recompiling API Plugin with Linux

  • The CMakelists provided for recompiling the plugin contains file paths that don't exist in my version.

    Lines ~75-80 of CMakelists.txt in /usr/ANVEL/samples :

    add_library(
    	${APIPLUGINSAMPLENAME}
    	SHARED
    	../samples/NewAPIPluginSample/Demo.cpp
    	../samples/NewAPIPluginSample/SamplePlugin.cpp
    )

    SamplePlugin.cpp exists in samples/PluginSample, but Demo.cpp doesn't exist anywhere. the NewAPIPluginSample folder is also non-existent.

    Because of this, I'm not able to load the API. I think the API plugin may have been compiled automatically with the installation of ANVEL, but I accidentally deleted the shared library while cleaning up other plugins.

    Any help is appreciated.

  • @samxchandler,

    The External API (and shared library) are independent from the plugin samples that are distributed with ANVEL. Can you try reinstalling ANVEL and see if that resolves the issue?

  • Reinstalling ANVEL fixed the issue. I'm guessing the code in the CMakeLists.txt implying the ability to recompile the API plugin is old, right?
